Reflecting on My First Semester at Mosaic College
When I started the year long college course at my church in Los Angeles, Mosaic, I was all sorts of skeptical. In fact, I didn’t even decide I was going to do it until an hour before class started as I was rushing to my friend's apartment for her to drive me to our first day! // But now that my first semester is done, I’m overcome with gratitude.
Pastor Rickey Williams - you showed me what type of leader I want to be someday- always putting others first.
Pastor Joe Smith - you played an integral role in shaping my character and I hope to daily continue to improve it.
Pastor Lawrence Fudge - growing up I’d ask my dad 1,000 questions about God a day, and now I do the same thing to all my mentors. You helped me learn how to think for myself and form my own conclusions based on scripture and you expanded my mind and thinking ten fold.
Pastor Kim McManus - Everyone knows my greatest hope is to be even remotely like you some day- being in your class showed me what it means to love people the way Jesus loves us & gave me dreams for my life I didn’t have before.
Thank you forever to all of you, can’t wait for next semester!
