God Doesn't Need Talent, He Only Needs Heart
I don't know if you guys know this but Moses was the homie that God chose to lead Israel out of slavery in Egypt... cool right? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Well what’s the best part (if you ask me) is that in Exodus 4:10 Moses (undoubtedly freaking out) says to God, “I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I read that today and was mind blown, because here’s this guy who isn’t famous or super talented or well-known, who admits he has faults and difficulties, and yet HE’S the one God decided to use to do all this for His people. That’s nuts! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You’d think God would want to choose a super impressive, intelligent, strong Thor like man for the crazy job, but instead, even when Moses resists, God still chooses him and uses his brother Aaron to help him speak. God tells him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them go blind? Is it not I the Lord? Now go, I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” Say whaaaaa! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m just throwing this out there because well, it got me, and because it’s important for everyone to know that God can do insane things with each and every one of us. Saying yes to Him will get you much further than any amount of money, fame or talent ever will.
