But, What If You Stayed?
Everyone always thinks the grass is greener on the other side. It’s so easy to think that way and as a result it’s also so easy to walk away from things, in search of something “better.”
But, what if you stayed? What if you fought for your life, right where it is? There’s so much power in facing opposition or being in a place where you’re hoping for more and saying no, I’m not going to run from this. I’m not going to fold. I’m not going to trade it out for whatever is on that other, “greener” side.
Because if you run now, you’ll be running forever. But, if you fight now, I promise you’ll see flowers grow where you once thought there was only rocky ground.
And I’m not saying to stay in anything that’s abusive, toxic or a dead end - whether that’s a relationship, job, city - but I am saying that maybe where you are is right where you’re meant to be. And, maybe it’s up to you to water the grass around you in order to make it greener.
